There has been a lot of comment in the media about the OECD report on the use of technology in the classroom. At Le Cheile Secondary School we are keen to model best practice in our teaching methods and find the iPads a useful tool to this end. Falling in Love….with books!
Love is in the air at Le Cheile Secondary School. In anticipation of St. Valentine’s day all our students have been sent on a blind date ….with a BOOK! As part of our literacy programme all students recommended a book to their friend and students have 10 days to read their book before – guess what – they have to offer it up at a speed dating for books event! On the last day of term all students will have one minute to sum up why everyone should read their book. Let the lovin’ begin!
