Ms. Leona Harrington
I am delighted to welcome you to our school website. We hope that it will give you an insight into life in our wonderful school.
It would be impossible to highlight the multitude of activities that go on in the school on a daily basis but as you browse our website I hope that you will get a sense of our happy, dynamic and caring community.
Within the school, we have created a strong sense of community. We work closely with our parents and guardians to promote and sustain an environment which nurtures and stimulates learning. Our school is characterised by an atmosphere of support and care where every student is encouraged to realise their full potential.
Fostering self-esteem and promoting mutual respect are central to our philosophy of education and we take pride in creating an atmosphere that is both nurturing and stimulating.
We are committed to the promotion of a value based education built on the shared purpose of Welcome, Wisdom and Witness. We articulate all that we do through a set of Core Values and Root Beliefs and as a school community we measure ourselves by these principles.
As a school of the Le Chéile Trust, we belong to a rich network of schools extending across Ireland. The tradition and ethos which we share with this network serve only to enrich the experience we offer as we seek to develop young people who are willing and able to make a valuable contribution to a rapidly changing world.
